Ben Cau: Awarding the First Class Resistance Medal

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai - Vice Chairman of Ben Cau District People's Committee awarded the First Class Resistance Medal to Mr. Le Van Trao.

During the resistance war against the US, Mr. Trao participated in digging secret tunnels to hide many revolutionary cadres (Mr. Pham Hoang Dao, Duong Van Dam (10 Lung), Tran Binh Trong (Ut Trong). Every day, Mr. Trao took care of meals, acted as a lookout, bought paper and pens for revolutionary cadres to make propaganda leaflets to fight the enemy.

After the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975), Mr. Trao participated in social work in An Thanh commune and raised 6 children to be successful in their studies. Currently, 2 of them work in the police force.

Authorized by the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee awarded the First Class Resistance Medal to Mr. Le Van Trao, for his achievements in the resistance war against America to save the country.

This is a noble reward, recognition of the Party and State for individuals who have contributed, dedicated, and are willing to sacrifice in the resistance war against America to save the country.
