Construction begins on the Dong Huong Tay Ninh bridge in Binh Thanh commune.

On the morning of December 20th, the Tay Ninh Hometown Association in Ho Chi Minh City, in coordination with the People's Committee of Binh Thanh commune, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Tay Ninh Hometown Bridge in Gay hamlet, Binh Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province.

Attendees included Ms. Le Thi Thu - former Minister and Chair of the Committee on Population, Family and Children; Mr. Nguyen Hong Thi - former Director of the Social Insurance Department of Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Pham Van Tran - former Secretary of the Duc Hue District Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet, Ms. Phan Thi Ngoc Khuong - Deputy Heads of the Tay Ninh Hometown Association in Ho Chi Minh City; and Mr. Thi Huu Giau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Thanh Commune.

The existing iron bridge railings are damaged, posing a safety hazard to traffic.

Delegates perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Dong Huong Tay Ninh Bridge.

The Dong Huong Tay Ninh Bridge is constructed as a single, monolithic structure, measuring 21 meters in length and 4 meters in width, ensuring durability and safety for people using it.

The total construction cost was 320 million VND, of which the Tay Ninh Hometown Association in Ho Chi Minh City contributed 200 million VND, with the remainder contributed by the people and local matching funds.

The construction of the Dong Huong Tay Ninh bridge in Gay hamlet, Binh Thanh commune, aims to facilitate travel, trade, and goods transportation for the local people, gradually improving rural transportation infrastructure and contributing to socio-economic development, enhancing the material and spiritual lives of people in this disadvantaged area. The project is expected to be completed after 2 months of construction.
