The inauguration of a 1.5 Tesla MRI machine integrated with artificial intelligence has helped Kien An Hospital (Hai Phong) enhance its diagnostic imaging capabilities and increase the accuracy of treatment.

On the afternoon of December 19th, Kien An Hospital inaugurated a 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) and held a scientific seminar on the topic "Application of advanced science and technology in diagnosis and treatment at Kien An Hospital".

This event marks a significant step in the hospital's strategy of investing in modern medical equipment and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.

The commissioning of a 1.5 Tesla MRI system with integrated artificial intelligence (AI) has enabled Kien An Hospital to master one of the most advanced diagnostic imaging techniques available today.

AI technology assists in image processing and analysis, enabling the reconstruction of high-resolution, clear images, helping medical teams detect many complex diseases early and accurately.

The system is of significant value in diagnosing neurological, spinal, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, abdominal diseases, and in cancer screening. Simultaneously, it shortens scanning time, reduces waiting times, and contributes to improved treatment effectiveness and patient satisfaction.

The scientific conference "Application of Advanced Science and Technology in Diagnosis and Treatment" featured many valuable professional reports with practical applications. Among them, leading experts in Vietnamese healthcare shared information on the application of 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in clinical indications and practice; clarifying the role of this technique in diagnosis and assisting doctors in developing appropriate, safe, and effective treatment protocols.

Also at the workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Vinh Ngoc, Vice President of the Hanoi Rheumatology Association, presented a topic on the advantages of combined corticosteroid and hyaluronic acid therapy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. He also provided additional scientific evidence and practical experience, opening up an effective treatment approach, especially for the elderly.
