Bitcoin (BTC) price is experiencing a shock after about 4 months, with a decline of up to -8% at the start of trading on June 4th.
At its peak, the price of BTC dropped to around 61,500 USDT - which is equivalent to the bottom established on February 6, 2026.

Bitcoin plummeted.
According to data from the cryptocurrency exchange OKX, in the early hours of June 4th, BTC long positions were liquidated with a value of up to $190 million amid analysts' predictions of a crash as the cryptocurrency fell below $65,000 USDT.
Regarding trading activity, OKX data shows that on June 3rd, over $220 million was transferred from wallets to the BTC exchange Coinbase and other exchanges for the purpose of selling off holdings.
Conversely, investors are betting more on Bitcoin's upward trajectory as money flows strongly into BTC ETFs, with values exceeding $800 million.
Bitcoin prices plummeted amid a recent US House of Representatives vote against President Donald Trump's war on Iran, paving the way for a new era of peace in the region.
However, investors are concerned that, even if the US unilaterally ends the war with Iran, the status quo in the Strait of Hormuz cannot be restored to its previous state because Iran has announced it will impose taxes on ships passing through the strait.
However, this scenario had been predicted by analysts beforehand, so it is unlikely to become a major factor impacting Bitcoin's price.
As of the morning of June 4th, there was no information from exchanges such as Binance, OKX, Bybit, etc., explaining the cause of this crash.
Since its historical peak in October 2025, the price of Bitcoin has fallen by approximately 50%, a very attractive discount for investors from a technical perspective.
The decline of Bitcoin has dragged down the entire cryptocurrency market. Data from the Binance exchange shows that top coins like ETH are down 6%, BNB down 7%, XRP down 3.46%, ADA down 8.48%, and so on.
