Speaking at the launching ceremony, Colonel Le Quang Luat, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Command of Ca Mau province, emphasized that Vietnam and Cuba are two countries with a special, loyal and steadfast traditional relationship, a shining symbol of international solidarity between two nations with the same ideals of independence, freedom and socialism. Throughout history, the Cuban people have always given Vietnam deep affection and sincere assistance, especially during the period of fighting for national independence.

At the launching ceremony, officers and soldiers in the entire provincial armed forces donated more than 140 million VND to the Cuban people.

This is a noble gesture, a practical action, affirming the tradition of humanity, close affection and loyalty between the two brotherly peoples of Vietnam and Cuba.
