At the command post, the combat crew of Missile Regiment 282 (Air Defense Division 375) practiced combat. The actions of the commander and the combat crew members were smooth and precise. The units were transferred in a timely manner, followed the correct procedures, gave loud, clear, and rhythmic commands, and operated on the VQ2 system proficiently; studied the situation, made determination, assigned tasks to the right targets; and used firepower units to fight the enemy in accordance with the combat plan.

After completing the combat mission, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Anh Thai, Commander of the 282nd Missile Regiment, shared: "To successfully complete the mission and effectively handle situations, the unit has strictly maintained discipline and training regimes, ensuring that soldiers master the weapons and equipment in their establishment; focused on training and educating combat crew members to grasp situations in the air and enemy tactics; and trained the bravery, style, command organization level, and health of soldiers."

This year's air defense missile regiment command post combat team exercise focuses on testing awareness of staff work; Party work, political work; and logistics and technical work in both theory and practice.

For the exercise content, the combat crews carry out the transition from regular to high combat readiness status; organize combat preparation, combat practice and post-combat phase.

In which, the combat teams focus on: Drafting combat documents; building and reporting combat plans and determination; the regimental party committee conference approves the regimental commander's determination to fight; the combat teams practice coordinating to fight the enemy and attack air fire to protect the assigned target according to the exercises of the Jury.

This is the first exercise in which the combat crew of the air defense missile regiment command center practiced operations and combat coordination at an automated command center, applying science, technology, and digital technology to combat practice.

The jury presented air situations that were close to modern warfare. The content and methods of conducting staff work had many innovations, based on the unification and newly issued documents; focusing on the content of enemy research, delving into new air combat methods, the enemy's tricks when conducting air fire attacks, issues drawn from recent wars in the world , and the development of modern means of attack.

The Party Committee Conference of Missile Regiment 282 (Air Defense Division 375) issued a Resolution to lead the task of restoring combat.

In all aspects of work: Staff; Party work, political work and logistics - engineering, the combat teams strictly followed the regulations, grasped the responsibilities and tasks of each component in the combat team, technical equipment features; grasped the contents, analyzed, and closely linked them to responsibilities and tasks.

During the exercise, the combat teams practiced switching to combat readiness status according to the correct procedure, ensuring sufficient content. The system operations when receiving and transmitting orders to switch to combat readiness status were correct, with sufficient content, and ensuring time. The units were able to fight the groups according to the requirements of the exercise. The post-battle report was compiled according to regulations.

The Party secretaries conducted the conference flexibly, orienting the discussion clearly, close to the combat mission. In combat practice, the political commissars did a good job of consulting and unifying with the commanders in assessment, evaluation, determination, and encouragement of the troops; and handled combat situations promptly and in accordance with principles.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Thanh Binh, Political Commissar of Missile Regiment 263 (Air Defense Division 367) said: “Through the exercise, Party and political activities have been significantly improved, especially the activities of the Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the regiment. The exercise has brought many experiences and lessons for the unit to continue organizing training and practice to improve the level and combat readiness of the regiment, effectively handling air defense combat situations.”

After the exercise, Major General Vu Dai Duong, Deputy Commander of the Air Defense - Air Force, requested the agencies of the Air Defense - Air Force to organize experience sharing to unify the direction and guidance of units on combat training, in accordance with the motto "Basic, practical, solid, safe, economical".

Continue to research, adjust, and supplement training content and programs, improve the quality of leadership, innovate methods and forms of organizing training exercises for air defense missile regiments, especially training to improve the ability to exploit and use automated command posts, coordinate combat crews of regimental command posts to fight the enemy in complex combat situations, and when the enemy uses high-tech weapons.

Units should seriously draw lessons from experience, promote strengths, and overcome weaknesses; take measures to lead, direct, and organize training to improve the mettle and qualifications of commanders and soldiers in transitioning to combat readiness, combat preparation, combat practice, and combat recovery.
