Speaking at the opening of the conference, General Phan Van Giang emphasized that the conference was organized with the aim of comprehensively assessing the achieved results, exchanging and discussing difficulties and problems, and drawing lessons learned during the operation; at the same time, sharing good and creative ways to improve the quality and efficiency of operations during the implementation of the Regulations on coordination of work between the Central Military Commission and the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

General Phan Van Giang said that the Central Military Commission and the Central Internal Affairs Commission have proactively and closely coordinated to effectively implement internal affairs work; prevent and combat corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform related to the military and national defense, typically: Actively and proactively researching, advising, proposing projects, guidelines and policies; solutions to handle military and national defense situations related to internal affairs work, prevent and combat corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform; important legal documents; the Party's policies and viewpoints on building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.

The two sides have coordinated in researching and developing projects on the organization and operation of agencies with judicial, inspection and legal functions in the Ministry of National Defense; giving opinions on military personnel planning; proactively exchanging information and documents related to internal affairs; national defense, national security, anti-corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform; military affairs, national defense, political security, social order and safety; proposing major policies and solutions of the Party, developing military and defense handling plans related to internal affairs. At the same time, coordinating in advising and proposing to the Politburo and the Secretariat on policies in handling especially serious and complicated cases and cases related to the military and defense.
At the conference, with a frank and open spirit, delegates contributed their enthusiastic opinions to the draft summary report as well as the contents that need to be revised and supplemented in the coordination regulations in order to continue to improve coordination work and successfully complete the tasks of the agencies in the coming years.

After listening to the opinions and conclusions of the conference, comrade Phan Dinh Trac said that the above results were achieved thanks to the implementation of the Coordination Regulations, which has always received the attention and direction of the leaders of the two agencies, especially the heads. At the same time, the agencies and units have proactively and enthusiastically coordinated their work well with understanding, trust, sincerity, transparency, and responsibility for the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, protecting the regime, protecting the people, protecting the Party and the State.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac noted a number of tasks and solutions that need to be implemented in the coming time: First of all, the two agencies will focus on coordinating to advise on institutionalizing and concretizing the Party's major policies and orientations on military, national defense, national defense, anti-corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform. The focus is to ensure the highest national interests, resolutely and persistently protect the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Fatherland; protect the Party, State, people and socialist regime; maintain political stability, proactively respond to security challenges, and gradually improve mechanisms to prevent corruption in a fundamental and sustainable manner.

The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission also requested the two agencies to continue to strengthen coordination in grasping the situation, analyzing and forecasting, advising on timely and effective handling of complex and emerging issues related to military, national defense, security, and national defense; research and give opinions on projects, advise on preliminary and final reviews, build and perfect institutions and laws on military, national defense, national defense, preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity, and judicial reform.
Strengthen guidance, monitoring, urging, inspection and supervision to prevent violations; strictly handle pending and complicated cases; enhance proactive coordination between units, maintain regular exchanges to create more substantial changes in the implementation of military and defense work, internal affairs, anti-corruption, waste, negativity and judicial reform right from the grassroots.
