This is the first time the Air Defense - Air Force Service has organized a drill for air divisions in the Service, with the aim of evaluating the quality of training of air divisions, the level and command and control ability of commanders and agencies in operating combat crews, and how to handle complex situations.

The combat crews participating in the exercise carried out the following contents: Political awareness; staff theory, logistics, and engineering; troop management regulations; combat document preparation; division party committee issuing combat resolutions; combat plan reporting; counterattack practice at the command post; infantry shooting...

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Major General Bui Thien Thau emphasized: The exercise is an opportunity for air force units to learn, exchange experiences, supplement and perfect document processes, study materials, research and properly assess the position and role of combat teams at the command headquarters of air force divisions in training and combat readiness.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the combat crews carried out the drills.

For the exercise to be successful, the Deputy Commander of the Service requested the Organizing Committee to conduct the exercise scientifically , strictly, ensuring absolute safety, without affecting the combat readiness and training tasks of the host unit. The jury monitored the reality, evaluated objectively, accurately, honestly and fairly. The combat teams participating in the exercise applied the knowledge they had learned and practical experience to perform the exercise content well and achieve high results. The combat team of the Air Force Officer School visited to monitor the steps and content of the exercise to complete the system of documents and teaching materials.
