From October 31 to November 3, post-flood environmental treatment work was carried out in 8 heavily affected villages. Working groups visited each household to guide the treatment of flooded wells, lakes and water tanks; at the same time, disseminated the correct use of disinfectant chemicals to ensure clean, safe water for drinking and daily activities.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Quoc said that after the flood, the risk of disease outbreaks is very high, so the Commune Health Station prioritizes instructing people on clean water treatment, residential area sanitation and medical surveillance to promptly detect and prevent disease.
In parallel, the Commune Health Station also organized free medical examinations and medicine for people in flooded areas.
