Mr. Nguyen Phu Quoc said that after the flood, the risk of disease outbreaks is very high, so the Commune Health Station prioritizes instructing people on clean water treatment, residential area sanitation and medical surveillance to promptly detect and prevent disease.

In parallel, the Commune Health Station also organized free medical examinations and medicine for people in flooded areas. The commune coordinated with organizations, militia forces and youth volunteers to collect waste, clear sewers, and limit the risk of disease outbreaks in the community. At the same time, it encouraged people to collect waste and clear flooded areas to prevent disease.
