On the morning of November 5, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province announced that it had just issued a document allowing students in coastal communes to stay home from school to prevent and avoid storm No. 13.

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 004/CD-UBND dated November 4, 2025 of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province on proactively implementing response plans to storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) and floods in Dak Lak province; In order to ensure absolute safety for teachers and students and limit damage caused by the impact of storm No. 13 and its circulation, the Department of Education and Training has just issued a document requesting the People's Committees of communes and wards to direct educational institutions in all coastal communes and wards including: Song Cau, Xuan Dai, Binh Kien, Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen, Hoa Hiep , Xuan Loc, Xuan Canh, Tuy An Bac, Tuy An Dong, O Loan, Tuy An Nam, Hoa Xuan, Xuan Tho, Dong Xuan, Phu Mo and some neighboring communes and wards to notify parents, preschool children, students and university students to be off school from the afternoon of November 5, 2025 (Wednesday) to the end of November 7, 2025 (Friday). Organize make-up classes, ensuring program content at appropriate times.

Educational institutions regularly keep in touch with parents and local authorities in managing and ensuring safety for students during school breaks.

The Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province has also issued an Official Dispatch on the implementation of work to prevent, combat and respond to storm No. 13 and floods at educational institutions in the province.
