Accordingly, on the afternoon of November 4, a working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Vice President Ngo Duy Hieu, in coordination with the Da Nang City Labor Federation, visited and encouraged union members and workers affected by floods at the 29-3 Textile Joint Stock Company.

The delegation presented 30 gifts, each worth 2 million VND, to support union members and employees of the company.

During the recent heavy rains, 29-3 Textile Joint Stock Company with 697 union members was affected, with heavy property damage. The company's union reported and proposed to the Da Nang City Labor Federation for timely support.

At the visit and gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu said that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor deeply sympathizes with businesses and workers for the losses caused by floods. He highly appreciated the initiative of the Da Nang City Trade Union in promptly grasping the situation, encouraging them mentally and materially to help workers stabilize their lives and return to work soon.

Recently, in order to share the difficulties with union members and workers in areas affected by storms and floods, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has directly gone to localities to support and encourage workers to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.

This time, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor provided support for union members and workers in Da Nang City affected by floods with a total amount of 1 billion VND.

At the support handover ceremony, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu sympathized with the losses of the people, including union members and workers in Bac Ninh province. Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized that the local union should soon have a timely support plan for union members and workers affected; at the same time, pay attention to disease prevention after the flood to ensure health and stabilize the lives of the people.
