Accordingly, implementing the Official Dispatch No. 03 dated November 5, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on proactive prevention and response to storm No. 13, the Department of Education and Training requested the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones to direct educational institutions under their management; units under the Department to let students take days off from school on November 6 and 7; at the same time, develop a plan to organize make-up classes at an appropriate time, ensuring the completion of the school year program as prescribed. In the following days, depending on the weather situation, educational institutions will proactively let students take days off; absolutely do not organize teaching and educational activities for students when safety is not guaranteed.

The Department of Education and Training also requested units to review, inspect and consolidate school facilities, especially at remote schools in remote areas, where there is a high risk of landslides or flooding; move assets, machinery, equipment, desks, chairs, records, textbooks to safe places to minimize damage, loss. At the same time, closely monitor the developments of storms and floods, regularly keep in contact with authorities and local rescue forces to promptly respond in case of incidents; assign leaders to be on duty 24/24 hours at the unit to proactively handle situations; regularly report promptly to the Department of Education and Training for timely understanding and direction.
