Attending and directing the drill and firing of air bullets were comrades: Major General Tran Cong Duc, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the 34th Corps; Major General Nguyen Tran Long, Deputy Political Commissar of the 34th Corps; comrades in the Party Committee, Command and heads of agencies of the 34th Corps.

The exercise took place from October 27 to 31, with the following contents: Changing combat readiness status; marching, stationing troops to receive combat missions; organizing combat preparations and practicing combat.

During the exercise, the Party Committee and commander of Division 10 firmly grasped the theory and tactical principles, flexibly applied them to practical situations and exercise scenarios, and led and directed agencies and units to properly implement the exercise steps.

When carrying out combat missions, the Division accurately assessed and determined the enemy situation, adjusted its determination and combat plans, used its forces appropriately, held standing meetings to propose appropriate policies and measures, assigned tasks, and commanded combat appropriately.

Leaders of the 34th Corps and agencies of the 34th Corps and Division 10 took a group photo with officers and soldiers participating in the exercise.

The training units grasped their missions, prepared for combat well, deployed and mobilized forces, occupied fortifications and attack positions according to plan, and carried out the actions of the combat training commanders, handled situations in the right order, ensuring absolute safety.

Speaking at the drill, Major General Tran Cong Duc praised and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and the results of the drill of Division 10. In particular, officers and soldiers of Division 10 overcame all difficulties caused by the impact of storm No. 12, did well in all preparations, organized the air bullet firing drill to achieve the set goals and requirements and with absolute safety.

The Chief of Staff of the 34th Corps emphasized: “The exercise has contributed to training and improving the command and advisory skills of leaders and commanders at all levels. Especially the ability to apply principles and tactical theories; the ability and methods to organize, prepare and practice combat; the ability to coordinate combat between units, meeting well the requirements of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Corps.”

At the same time, the Party Committee and Command of Division 10 are required to draw on experience and promote the results and lessons from the exercise to train and foster cadres, leaders, and commanders to improve the quality of training, exercises, and combat readiness of the unit...
