At the conference, village chiefs, hamlet chiefs, and prestigious people were informed about a number of contents: Ethnic minority communities and ethnic relations in Vietnam; laws and policies of the State on economic and social development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; ensuring national defense and security in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The commander of the 327th Economic-Defense Brigade delivered a speech at the conference.

Furthermore, in a spirit of solidarity and democracy, village heads, community leaders, and influential individuals have interacted, shared experiences, expressed their thoughts and aspirations, and discussed effective methods in disseminating information and mobilizing the people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations; carrying out local defense and military tasks; developing the economy, culture, and society; building new rural areas; eliminating outdated customs; and eradicating superstition... This has created enthusiasm, spread patriotism and the strength of national unity; and continued to inspire, encourage, and replicate advanced models among ethnic minorities, contributing to the successful achievement of the goals and tasks of National Target Program 1719 in Hoanh Mo commune.

Acknowledging the contributions of delegates, unit commanders and local leaders, we hope that in the coming time, village chiefs, hamlet chiefs, and prestigious people in the area will continue to accompany the Party Committee, government, and armed forces to effectively coordinate the implementation of economic, cultural and social development programs, always taking the lead in mobilizing ethnic minorities in building a national defense associated with a solid people's security posture; building a spirit of national solidarity, military-civilian solidarity, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous and civilized homeland.
