Organizing Military Youth Festival with traffic culture

(GLO)- On October 21, at Division 320 (Corps 34), the Army Youth Union coordinated with the Political Department of Corps 34 and other units to organize the Army Youth Festival with Traffic Culture in 2025.

Attending the event were: Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh - Deputy Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army; Le Kim Thanh - Vice Chairman in charge of the National Traffic Safety Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huu Que, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of localities and units.

According to the leaders of the Army Youth Committee, in recent years, the youth of the Army have coordinated with organizations and forces outside the Army to organize propaganda, education, and implement models such as: "Youth Union branches without members violating discipline or traffic laws," "Youth-managed road sections," and "Safe road and railway crossings." In accordance with the policies of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense , the youth of the Army have carried out many practical and specific activities; especially every year, the General Political Department directs the Army Youth Committee to coordinate with agencies, units, and localities to launch the "Army Youth and Traffic Culture Day" with many good, creative, and effective approaches such as political activities, quizzes, forums, seminars, and theatrical performances…

Launching the event, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh requested that agencies and units thoroughly understand and implement the key contents of the 2025 Traffic Safety Year with the theme "Safe Journey, Building the Future" and the criteria of the "Army Youth with Traffic Culture" campaign; do a good job of propaganda and education to raise awareness of the meaning and importance of building "Traffic Culture"; effectively implement the 50 campaign, building a cultured lifestyle and a conscious awareness of complying with the law when participating in traffic. The Deputy Head of the General Political Department also requested that youth union members of agencies and units always behave culturally in all traffic situations; uphold the responsibility of setting an example and encouraging everyone to participate in safe traffic.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, delegates marched, demonstrating their strength and promoting the traffic safety culture festival; they also visited the technical area of ​​Regiment 48, Division 320. Prior to that, delegates attending the festival offered incense and flowers at the Division 320 Traditional House to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives.
