Colonel Pham Van Hong, Deputy Political Commissar of Division 9 (Army Corps 34) said: “No matter what position or job they do, women are always proactive, creative, dedicated, courageous, and responsible. From the smallest tasks, arranging documents, preparing meals, taking care of soldiers' health, organizing association activities... All are done by the members with all their hearts, with love for the profession and love for people. That is what has created the strong vitality of the women's movement in the entire Division.”

Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi To Loan, Head of Pharmacy Department, Division 9 Infirmary, guides health care for people.

One of the representative faces of the Women's Union of Division 9 is Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi To Loan, Head of the Pharmacy Department, Division Infirmary. For many years, she has been a typical example in the emulation movement "Good at public affairs - good at housework" and has been commended by the Division.

Her husband works far away, raising two small children alone, under pressure, but she has never been discouraged. She always exudes composure, responsibility and a great love for her work. She is in charge of pharmaceutical work, a field that requires precision, meticulousness and a large workload. From management work, ensuring medicine and medical supplies, to consulting on health care plans for soldiers, inspecting sanitation units... The specific job seems to have no days off.

Major Truong Thi Hien, Library staff, Political Department, Division 9, spoke at the women's conference.

Ms. Loan shared: “I am determined that as a soldier, every difficulty is a challenge to train myself. Despite the pressure and hardship, I always try my best to complete the assigned tasks. At home, despite being busy, I still try to spend quality time with my children, being both a mother and a friend to them...”.

To her children, she is a loving support, an example of perseverance and silent love. To her teammates, she is a comrade who is always devoted to her work.

Officers and members perform art performances to serve soldiers on the training ground during break time.

If Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi To Loan has many achievements in military medical work, then Major Truong Thi Hien, Library staff (Political Department), President of the Women's Union of Division 9 is the "fire" that inspires all members.

Both husband and wife are soldiers, have stressful jobs, and have young children, but Major Truong Thi Hien always balances work and family well. Not only does she excel in her professional duties, she is also an active and creative President of the Association, organizing many practical movements close to the lives of female soldiers.

Women's Union members of Division 9 give drinking water in the model "Supporting the training season".

Under the leadership of Ms. Hien, the Division Women's Union has effectively implemented many movements and models such as: "Women are 3 responsibilities", "Raising healthy children - teaching good children", "Good at public work - good at housework", "Supporting training season"... Saving models, supporting members in difficulty, taking care of policy families, cultural and sports activities... always receive positive responses from members and recognition from commanders at all levels.

Major Truong Thi Hien confided: “I am proud to live, work and contribute in a group of female soldiers full of courage and determination. Each sister, no matter where she is or what she does, has persistently contributed to building a strong and comprehensive Division.”

From the clinic, pharmacy, library to the canteen or training ground, the mark of the women of Division 9 is everywhere. They always clearly contribute to each specific task assigned.

Colonel Pham Van Hong, Deputy Political Commissar of Division 9, commented: “Although the number of women in the Division is not large, they are all comrades with good qualities, high responsibility, and work scientifically and effectively. They not only complete their professional tasks well, but are also a solid support in their families. The presence of women contributes significantly to the overall achievements of the unit.”

Many women have husbands who work far away, and sometimes they only see each other a few times a month. They have to take on both roles - being a unit officer and employee; and being a mother, a wife, and the keeper of the family hearth. This is a vivid manifestation, spreading from the movements, models and examples of officers and members shining in each specific job and task.

Examples like Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi To Loan and Major Truong Thi Hien are not only the pride of the Women's Union of Division 9, but also a living proof of the good qualities of Vietnamese women in the Army: "Good at national affairs - Good at family affairs", ready to silently sacrifice for comrades, teammates, for duty and family. Over the past 5 years, 100% of members have achieved the title of "Two-good Women Union members".

With dynamism, creativity and responsibility, the women of Division 9 continue to shine, spreading the good values of Vietnamese women in the new era, contributing to building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, typical" Division.
