Amidst the festive atmosphere of the traditional Lunar New Year, when people across the country gather with their families to celebrate the spring and welcome the new year, life at the Special Forces Battalion, Headquarters of Military Region 9, continues at a rapid and serious pace.

The officers and soldiers of the unit strictly maintain a 24/7 combat readiness duty, determined to safeguard peace so that the people can celebrate Tet safely and happily.

First Lieutenant Le Thanh Vinh, Platoon Leader of Platoon 3, Counter-Terrorism Company, regularly briefs each officer and soldier on their assigned tasks. He emphasizes the need to maintain a high level of vigilance, strictly adhere to discipline, and avoid being caught off guard or surprised in any situation.

Known as soldiers who carry out "special" missions, special forces always face complex situations that require unwavering courage and high professional skills.

With responsibilities clearly defined during peak holiday periods, the unit proactively reviewed, supplemented, and refined its operational plans.

Although they couldn't be with their families on New Year's Eve, the soldiers remained steadfast in their resolve. For them, the greatest joy was successfully completing their duties and contributing to maintaining peace and security for the people.

Amidst the spreading spring colors across the country, the image of special forces soldiers silently standing guard further highlights the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era – dedication, discipline, and readiness to sacrifice for the Fatherland.

Besides strictly maintaining combat readiness, officers and soldiers of the Special Forces Battalion are also actively promoting agricultural production, consolidating and beautifying the barracks' landscape, and preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 in a joyful and warm atmosphere.

With a spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement, every vegetable patch, gourd trellis, flower garden, and ornamental plant is meticulously cared for. From the production area to the common living area, everywhere is vibrant with the colors of spring, reflecting the disciplined, orderly beauty and rich spiritual life of the Special Forces soldiers.
