The program's impact demonstrates a new direction in the development of Hanoi's culture, transforming art into an endogenous resource and contributing to the realization of Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Action Program No. 08-CTr/TU recently issued by the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee.

"Peaceful Hanoi" - a city full of emotion in the heart of the city.

Last weekend, the Octagonal House on Le Thach Street (Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi) transformed into a special "art stage" for the live concert "Peaceful Hanoi". Elaborately staged musical works emerged from the theater's auditorium to reach thousands of spectators in this unique heritage space in the heart of the capital. The "Peaceful Hanoi" live concert, directed by the Hanoi People's Committee and organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, was free of charge, with the hope of providing an accessible approach to art for the public and tourists in Hanoi.

The unique aspect of "Peaceful Hanoi" is its multi-layered emotional structure. It begins with stirring melodies, recreating a resilient Hanoi rich in tradition. Next, the audience is guided back to memories through lyrical songs about the capital, evoking the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, or Hanoi's autumn. The musical space then expands with Vietnamese and international love songs, creating a connection between cultures, between tradition and modernity.

The participation of over 100 artists in choirs, bands, and dance troupes created a large-scale, professional performance. In particular, violinist Anh Tú, in his role as co-director and music director, became the "soul" of the program, guiding the audience's emotions through various stages. Familiar voices such as diva Mỹ Linh, singer Đinh Mạnh Ninh, and rocker Đỗ Hoàng Hiệp brought their own unique nuances, enriching the artistic experience.

The highlight of the live concert was at the end, when the entire Octagonal House simultaneously switched off its lights in support of Earth Hour. In that moment, thousands of audience members joined in singing songs about Hanoi. Music became a bridge of community awareness, spreading messages about environmental protection and the aspiration for peace.

Going beyond the boundaries of a mere art performance, the "Peaceful Hanoi" live concert became a rich and emotionally resonant cultural experience for the audience, contributing to showcasing Hanoi's image as a city of "Culture - Identity - Creativity - Integration - Connection".

Shaping a new cultural image for the capital city.

The success of the "Peaceful Hanoi" live concert demonstrates the significant impact of community music programs on urban life. This is concrete evidence of the orientation towards making culture a resource for development, in line with Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo and Action Program No. 08-CTr/TU of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee.

Besides the "Peaceful Hanoi" live concert, many musical activities have been organized at the Octagonal House open space in recent times, gradually forming a familiar cultural meeting point. Particularly noteworthy is the "Weekend Music" program, held regularly on Sunday afternoons, attracting a large number of locals and tourists. Melodies about Hanoi, arranged in a jazz style, along with Vietnamese jazz and international classical pieces, resonate in this heritage space, performed by Meritorious Artist Quyen Van Minh and artists from the Binh Minh Jazz Club, creating a unique appeal.

In addition, the "Community Music" program, held every Sunday evening, offers a diverse artistic experience combining circus acts, traditional music, Western music, and contemporary music. Each performance is a different color, contributing to enriching the spiritual lives of the public.

Participating in the coordination of programs at the Octagonal House, People's Artist Tan Minh, Director of the Thang Long Music and Dance Theatre, said that the activities are implemented according to the city's directives to develop the cultural life of the Hoan Kiem Lake area. Maintaining regular performances helps art become a part of daily life, while also creating a highlight for the central space of the capital.

Supporting this initiative, diva My Linh believes that reviving the community performance movement around Hoan Kiem Lake is a meaningful idea, contributing to creating a more accessible artistic atmosphere for residents and tourists. The singer expressed her hope that artists would join hands to bring more quality programs, so that every weekend, Hanoi becomes an exciting cultural meeting place. Singer Dinh Manh Ninh also shared that each time participating in a community music program is an opportunity for artists to contribute positive values to society, while also feeling more deeply the connection between art and life.

The choice of Hoan Kiem Lake, a place where the historical and cultural values of the capital converge, aims to create a connection between heritage and contemporary life. From here, music becomes a means of renewing the approach to heritage, allowing traditional cultural values to continue to spread in a modern context.

With its rich thousand-year-old cultural tradition and the dynamic energy of a creative city, Hanoi is gradually asserting its pioneering role in making culture and people the foundation and endogenous resources for development. Community art programs are accompanying, nurturing, and contributing to shaping a new cultural face for the capital city.
