According to the 2024 enrollment plan, yesterday's deadline (August 27th) was 5 PM for candidates to confirm their enrollment on the Ministry of Education and Training 's online enrollment system. However, based on feedback from universities, colleges, and candidates, some students only discovered the oversight when enrolling in person at their schools: they had not confirmed their enrollment on the system.
"To facilitate candidates, the Ministry of Education and Training has decided to open the system to allow candidates to complete the enrollment confirmation procedures before 5 PM on August 31st," the Ministry of Education and Training's announcement stated.

According to statistics from the Department of Higher Education , Ministry of Education and Training, as of 5 PM yesterday, 551,497 candidates had confirmed their online enrollment on the system, reaching a rate of 81.87% compared to the number of candidates admitted in the first round on the system. This year's enrollment rate is higher than last year (80.34%).
This year, the total number of candidates applying for university admission is over 733,000, of which 673,586 were admitted through the first round of online admissions. This means that 122,107 candidates did not confirm their enrollment, accounting for 18.13% of the total number of candidates admitted in the first round.
According to regulations, candidates who have been admitted and confirmed their enrollment are not eligible for supplementary admissions, except in cases where the head of the training institution allows them to not enroll. For cases where enrollment has been confirmed on the Ministry's system, the cancellation information cannot be removed.
For candidates who were not admitted or have not confirmed their enrollment in the first round and wish to apply for supplementary admission rounds, they should follow the admission plan posted on the school's admissions website (if the school conducts supplementary admissions).
