The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes the "Back to the Roots" Program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Cultural Sector.

On the morning of August 21, a delegation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism led by Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy organized a "return to the source" program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025). Also attending was Mr. Trinh Ngoc Chung, Director of the Department of Cultures of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups.

The "return to the source" program on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Cultural sector's tradition (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025) is an event and activity continuing the journey of gratitude and expressing deep thanks from generations working in the Cultural sector today to the local people who have helped the cultural and information work team from the years of resistance until today.

At the working session, the delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism offered flowers at the Information Office (Minh Thanh Commune, Tuyen Quang Province), the predecessor of today's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy and the delegation attended the meeting and presented 20 gifts to families with meritorious services to the revolution. This was also an activity to show gratitude and reciprocity. Through small but meaningful gifts, the delegation wished to express their deep gratitude to the local people.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy emphasized that the long-term resistance war led by the Party and Government was a great success. In that process, there were contributions from the Culture and Information sector.

To achieve that result, the following generations are extremely grateful for the blood sacrifices and the protection and care of the ethnic people of Tuyen Quang province in general, the revolutionary war zone of Tan Trao and Minh Thanh commune in particular, for the former officers of the Department of Culture and Information and the support for the implementation of the tasks of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the current period.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism offered incense at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh.

Also within the framework of the "return to the source" program, the same morning, the delegation offered incense at Uncle Ho's Temple; visited and offered incense at the Memorial House of General Vo Nguyen Giap at Pu Don relic (ATK Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen); Hong Thai Communal House (Tan Trao, Son Duong, Tuyen Quang).

Offering incense at President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House (ATK Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen), Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy and members of the delegation respectfully commemorated his great contributions to the Vietnamese people in the struggle for national liberation, national reunification and national construction.
