Digital transformation progress in schools in De Xu Phinh

Over the past few years, the De Xu Phinh Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School in Pung Luong commune, Lao Cai province, has made efforts to implement effective digital transformation solutions, creating a creative and modern learning environment that helps students access knowledge effectively, contributing to improving the capacity of the teaching staff and opening up many new opportunities for students.

Ms. Luong Thi Hong Hanh, Principal of De Xu Phinh Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School, shared: The school has collaborated with the Institute of Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology to organize training courses on designing electronic lesson plans, applying E-learning, STEM, as well as skills in using information technology and artificial intelligence in teaching and educational management; providing timely support and advice to teachers, especially those with many years of experience.

During the 2024-2025 school year, teachers organized workshops on: Applying information technology in teaching Mathematics and Vietnamese in grade 2; Applying information technology in teaching History, Geography, and Science in grade 5; Applying digital transformation to teaching to improve the quality of Mathematics and Vietnamese; developing and implementing STEM teaching topics throughout the school year… As a result, many students and teachers won awards in competitions at various levels. 100% of primary school students were assessed as having completed or completed the educational program well; 100% of secondary school students were assessed as achieving or exceeding the target, with nearly 40% of students being assessed as good or excellent.

For the 2025-2026 school year, De Xu Phinh Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School aims to continue training and improving the quality of its teaching staff, fostering a spirit of self-learning and self-improvement among teachers; conducting early surveys and student classifications to develop appropriate teaching and training methods; continuing to build a digital learning resource library, categorized appropriately for both general and gifted students; and guiding students in effectively utilizing digital learning resources to support their studies…
