Tri Vinh University recorded two important events, marking a significant breakthrough in training and scientific research.
On January 13, 2025, Tra Vinh University (TVU) held two special events, affirming new advancements in teaching, scientific research, and educational quality accreditation. These are important milestones not only for the university but also for the entire higher education system in Vietnam.
Appointment decisions were issued to 04 Associate Professors.
At the 2025 Conference of Officials, Public Employees, and Outstanding Exemplars, TVU solemnly held the Ceremony to Announce the Decision and Award Certificates of Accreditation for the title of Associate Professor by the State Council for Professor Titles to four outstanding lecturers: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chau Thi Hoang Hoa, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Diem, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Truc Linh, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tan Tai.
Mr. Nguyen Quynh Thien, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province, attended and delivered a congratulatory speech to the newly appointed Associate Professors.
Speaking at the event, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector of TVU, emphasized that the appointment of the new Associate Professors is a testament to the university's continuous efforts in improving the quality of its human resources. He also affirmed that this is not only the achievement of individuals but also a shared pride of the entire university. This will contribute to creating a solid foundation for TVU's sustainable development within the national and international higher education system.

The newly appointed Associate Professors also expressed their deep gratitude to the university community and pledged to continue contributing to teaching, research, and knowledge transfer to further enhance the reputation of Tra Vinh University on the educational map.
Achieved quality accreditation for educational institutions – received accreditation certification for Cycle II.
On the same day, TVU also held the Announcement Ceremony and Awarding of the Certificate of Accreditation for Educational Institutions – Cycle II, conducted by the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation under the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. The survey results from October 15th to 19th, 2024 showed that TVU achieved 109 out of 111 criteria with a score of 4 or higher on a 5-point scale, with all 25 standards achieving an average score of 4.00 or higher. This is the second consecutive time TVU has received accreditation for educational institution quality.
The university leadership emphasizes its development strategy of becoming an "advanced, application-oriented, and internationally integrated university," with the goal of training high-quality human resources to meet societal demands. The university is focusing on investing in modern infrastructure and information technology systems to best serve students and the community.
These two events are not only proud milestones but also a driving force for Tra Vinh University to continue affirming its position in the field of higher education in Vietnam and around the world. With these tireless efforts, TVU is gradually creating sustainable value in education and scientific research.
