In 2026, Tra Vinh University will enroll students in 49 majors belonging to the following groups: agriculture - fisheries, engineering and technology, health sciences, economics - law - logistics, pedagogy, foreign languages, tourism, environment, biotechnology, culture - arts, etc.

According to this year's admissions policy, scholarships covering 100% of first-year tuition fees are available for 13 priority majors.
The categories span across technology, engineering, health, agriculture, and social sciences; including artificial intelligence, mechatronics, environmental engineering, agricultural technology, pharmaceutical chemistry, public health , psychology, social work, plant protection, biotechnology, and several other applied engineering and science disciplines.
In the field of culture and traditional value preservation, new students majoring in traditional musical instrument performance are exempt from 100% of tuition fees for the entire course and receive a living allowance of 450,000 VND per month.
Students majoring in cultural studies, musicology, and Khmer language receive a tuition fee subsidy equivalent to 30% for the entire course.
Another noteworthy point is the scholarship policy for female students studying engineering. Accordingly, female students enrolling in certain fields such as construction, mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, control and automation, automotive engineering, and chemical engineering receive support equivalent to 50% of the total tuition fee to encourage them to expand their career opportunities.

In its focus on enhancing foreign language training, Tra Vinh University continues to implement the English Integrated Program (EIP) for Information Technology and Business Administration majors. Students participating in the program receive support to ensure that their actual tuition fees are equivalent to those of the regular program, approximately 1.09 - 1.19 million VND per credit.
The school also offers scholarships based on achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship. Candidates who win awards at the ministerial level or equivalent can receive support ranging from 20 to 50 million VND; at the regional level from 10 to 25 million VND; and at the provincial or school level from 5 to 10 million VND, depending on the award level. This policy applies to members of the winning teams and includes the benefit of a 100% tuition fee waiver for the first year, as per regulations.
For the fields of international trade economics and tourism economics, the university offers scholarships equivalent to 50% of the first-year tuition fee to candidates who meet the English proficiency requirements.
Accordingly, candidates with a VSTEP certificate at level 3 (B1) or higher, or an equivalent international certificate, will be eligible for scholarship consideration.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Director of Tra Vinh University, the support policies are designed to share the cost of education with students' families, while also creating conditions for students to improve their foreign language skills, professional skills, and ability to adapt to the working environment in the new era.
In addition to expanding its scholarship policies, Tra Vinh University has also made its mark with the quality of its training and its capacity for international integration.
For six consecutive years, the university has been ranked among the Top 100 innovative universities with significant social impact and contribution according to the WURI ranking; and for many years, it has been present in the Top 200 green and sustainable universities according to UI GreenMetric.
Notably, the university currently has 27 internationally accredited training programs according to FIBAA (Europe), AUN-QA (Southeast Asia), and ABET (USA) standards, placing it among the top universities in the Mekong Delta region in terms of the number of internationally accredited programs.
