Filled with excitement, Ms. Doan Thi Kim Anh, homeroom teacher of class 1A at Hung Vuong Primary School, said emotionally: “This is the first year the first-grade students are entering primary school. Attending the national opening ceremony will help them feel more proud and motivate them to study right from the first days.”
Even remote and isolated areas share the same rhythm.
Even in schools facing many difficulties, the atmosphere of preparation is vibrant. At Dat Mui 1 Primary School (Dat Mui commune), the past few days have been bustling with cleaning, decorating classrooms, and repairing necessary facilities. Principal Doan Van Tiep said: “The school has enrolled 870 students. When we learned that we would be participating in the opening ceremony along with the rest of the country, both teachers and students were very excited. Despite the shortcomings, we are determined to give the children a meaningful and memorable opening day.”

On August 29th, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, personally inspected the preparations for the opening ceremony at several schools in the province. During the inspection, he highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and meticulousness of the units, demonstrating their determination to be ready for the new school year. He noted that schools need to continue to effectively utilize the invested facilities; arrange classrooms and teaching staff appropriately; and ensure the safety of the electrical system and teaching equipment. The education sector must strive to overcome difficulties, promote innovation in teaching methods, improve the quality of education, and create motivation for teachers and students throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

The milestone of 80 years of the Education sector.
The 2025-2026 school year is even more significant as the opening ceremony coincides with the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the National Ministry of Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training). This is an opportunity for the sector to reflect on its glorious traditions and affirm its position and role in the cause of building and developing the country.
The nationwide opening ceremony carries the message of "innovation - creativity - unity," instilling confidence and aspirations for a high-quality and effective school year.
