(CTO) - During the construction of a road section from Tri Phai commune to the center of Thoi Binh district, Ca Mau province, a road roller ran over and killed a worker at the construction site.
Two road rollers were involved in the accident.
On May 25th, the People's Committee of Thoi Binh commune, Thoi Binh district, confirmed that a rare traffic accident had occurred in the area, where a road roller ran over and killed a construction worker.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 25th in Hamlet 4, Thoi Binh Commune (on the road from Tri Phai Commune to the center of Thoi Binh District). While driving a road roller with license plate 69LA-0118, 23-year-old D.DP was leveling the road, he collided with a 65-year-old man, a construction worker. The collision caused the man to fall and be run over by another road roller with license plate 69SA-0192, also working on the site, resulting in his immediate death.
Both the perpetrator and the victim were workers at a construction company in Ca Mau City. Authorities have drawn up a report and handed over the body of the deceased man to his family for burial.
