Virtual singer Ann makes a comeback.

After more than a year since her debut, Ann, Vietnam's first virtual idol, officially returns with the music video "Cry," showcasing a significantly changed style.

On the evening of August 21st, Ann made her comeback to the music scene with the MV " Cry ." This song is a Rock-Baby Voice track with a futuristic concept. The MV's plot revolves around a young woman who loses her lover and becomes alone as she witnesses the world collapsing. In the video, Ann showcases her ballet skills and musical instrument playing abilities.

According to Ann's management company, the mixing and arrangement phase took place simultaneously with the music video production, allowing for a wealth of creative ideas. Besides the vibrant rock and baby voice music, the music video's visuals aren't overly dark but lean towards strong colors, representing a journey towards a new future.

In this comeback, Ann's musical style is clearer, and her delivery reflects the spirit of the genre. Furthermore, the virtual idol showcases a diverse range of styles, from alluring and feminine to edgy Y2K trends.

During the launch of her new music video, Ann surprised everyone by performing with a live band for the first time. Using 3D hologram technology, the virtual idol showcased her clear vocals in a performance of the song " Cry ." The production team revealed that they are "gearing up" to help Ann perfect her image and performance skills, ready for a project where she will collaborate with real artists.

Besides establishing her own unique style on the Vietnamese music scene, the production team is also focusing on developing a fan base for the virtual idol. “We hope to help Ann gain more fans who love Rock-Baby Voice music. At the same time, we will continuously upgrade her visuals and technical skills to prepare for future performances,” shared a representative from Ann’s management company.
