How will the healthcare facilities be reorganized after the merger?

The Ministry of Health has recently issued a document providing guidance on the restructuring and reorganization of healthcare facilities at all administrative levels, implementing a two-tiered local government organizational model.

The new Department of Health is a specialized agency under the People's Committee of the province or city after the reorganization.

According to the Ministry of Health 's guidelines, existing regional polyclinics and commune/ward/town health stations will be maintained and transferred to the management of the People's Committees at the grassroots level (new communes/wards).

Ensure that each newly reorganized commune or ward has at least one health station.
