Visitors should choose places with a panoramic view to enjoy the performances at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.
The 11th Danang International Fireworks Festival is back after 3 years of absence due to the pandemic. Fireworks performances take place from June 2 to July 6 at the east bank of the Han River. 8 teams will compete with the schedule: Team Da Nang - Vietnam will compete on the opening night with Finland; Canada - France (June 7), Italy - Australia (June 8), Poland - UK (June 10) and the final took place on the evening of July 6.
Mr. Nguyen Thien, communications manager for a number of hotels in Da Nang, said that tourists who are afraid of crowds can choose to watch fireworks at restaurants and hotel bars near the festival area. In addition, there are public places or river cruises.
Public Places
Public places give visitors free space to watch fireworks for free. Visitors are advised to park their cars and walk in these public areas. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the preservation of personal belongings, limit carrying many valuables in the bag when going to crowded places.
Bridges over the Han River such as Han River Bridge, Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Dragon Bridge and Tran Thi Ly Bridge are ideal places to admire the free fireworks displays at close range.

The area where the carp turns into a dragon and prays for love The east bank of the Han River is also easy to observe fireworks. The statue of carp turning into a dragon is located between the Dragon Bridge and Love Bridge, located right next to the Han River on Tran Hung Dao Street. Love Bridge is located between Dragon Bridge and Han River Bridge. From these two locations, you can observe the whole city and the other side of the river.
Bach Dang Street located in the city center, where can observe the fireworks clearly. The best place to watch fireworks is the area opposite the headquarters of the People's Council of Da Nang City and the Da Nang General Science Library. Visitors should park their cars when coming to the areas, so check the time when vehicles are allowed to travel on this road on festival days.
Rooftop bars
If you want to watch the fireworks at a high altitude and avoid crowded places, you can choose the bars and restaurants located on the rooftop of the hotel in the city center. The space here is private, in return for high service costs and reservations.
Sky 36 bar
This bar is located on the 35-37th floor of the hotel on Bach Dang street, overlooking the Han River and the whole city. From here, visitors can watch the fireworks displays up close, as the hotel is only about 500 meters from the festival site.

This venue accepts reservations in advance for proper seating arrangements. There are 4 seating positions including outdoor dining area, lounge sofa, standing table and bar seating. In addition to the panoramic space, the bar also serves live music on the evenings of the fireworks festival. The price of drinks including cocktails and beer here ranges from 180.000 VND to 300.000 VND per glass.
Wink Hotel Danang Riverside
This hotel is located on Tran Hung Dao Street, stretching a part of the road along the Han River. There is a pool bar located on the 25th floor with a 360-degree view of the city center. The bar is open from 18pm for hotel guests and visitors. Admission ticket during the fireworks festival is 890.000 VND per person, including dinner and drinks.

Brilliant Top Bar
This place is a restaurant and bar, located on the rooftop of a 17-storey hotel on Bach Dang Street, with a panoramic view of the Han River. During the fireworks festival, the bar is open from 21pm to 23pm.
Food combos here are priced from 589.000 VND, drinks cost about 50.000 VND each. Visitors who want to have a seat close to the glass wall to easily observe the fireworks should book a table about a day before the show night.
Altitude Pool Bar
In addition to places in the city center such as Bach Dang or Tran Hung Dao streets, visitors can watch long-range fireworks from Son Tra peninsula at an altitude of about 700 meters.
The recommended place is a bar with a swimming pool located on the 33rd floor of the hotel on Vo Nguyen Giap street, Son Tra district. The restaurant has a view of My Khe beach, city scene and Han river area. In addition to serving drinks such as beer and cocktails, this place organizes a BBQ buffet during the fireworks festival, the ticket price is 750.000 VND per person.
In addition to high-altitude fireworks viewing spots, visitors can choose to experience floating on the Han River and enjoy a colorful light party from the yacht.

4U Danang Yatch, Danang Dragon Cruise, RV Han Princess or Han Giang, Ocean Tour all provide dinner service on the yacht, serving guests to watch fireworks on the river. Cruises usually have a schedule to depart at 17pm at Han River port, take tourists on a river cruise for an hour, then stop at a fireworks viewing point. During this time, visitors can watch the fireworks show, dine and enjoy the music party on board. Around 22 pm, the ship takes guests back to the harbor.
