Information from the Ministry of Education and Training said that: There should be a separate resolution on higher education, which is the recommendation of the universities at the meeting themed "Orientation for the final assessment report of higher education according to Resolution No. 29/NQ-TW” of the Higher Education Subcommittee, National Council for Education and Human Resource Development on the afternoon of August 11th.
Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh, Department of Education (Central Propaganda Department) said that when developing the report, the Ministry of Education and Training should stick to the essence and core contents of Resolution 29, including development of quality of education; change educational methods and objectives in the direction of developing learners' capacity; educational management innovation; minimize negative impacts, and promote positive market mechanisms affecting Vietnamese education.
Through the orientation of the report summarizing the 10 years of implementation of Resolution 29 of the Higher Education Department, Mr. Linh said that the report should have a follow-up proposal after Resolution 29, specifically, what elements should be added in the resolution. decide, even propose a new resolution or not.
This is also a problem raised by Professor Nguyen Dong Phong, Chairman of the Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics.
