The fire occurred around 19:30 p.m. on March 23 at Tuan Minh bookstore, Long Phuoc ward, Phuoc Long town (Binh Phuoc).
At that time, a fire suddenly broke out at the bookstore. Many people shouted and helped each other to put out the fire on the spot but failed.
The fire quickly spread, smoke rose sky high and threatened to spread to nearby homes and businesses. Many people quickly moved their belongings away from the fire.

Receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Binh Phuoc Police dispatched 4 fire engines along with officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.
After more than 2 hours, the fire was controlled. Firefighters are still spraying water to cool down and prevent the fire from breaking out again.
The fire caused the entire bookstore area to collapse, many properties inside were burned, and neighboring houses were affected.
