Today (April 16th), the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City announced the results of the first aptitude test of 2025. This test was held on March 30th in 25 provinces and cities with the participation of over 126,000 candidates. The test results will serve as the basis for admission to more than 100 universities and colleges.
According to the Center for Testing and Quality Assessment of Training (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), the average score of the exam was 618.4 points out of 1,200. Of these, 142 candidates achieved a score of 1,000 or higher.
The highest score was 1,060 and the lowest was 40 points. This year's exam score distribution is close to a normal distribution, making it easier for schools to classify and select candidates.
A new feature this year is that the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City will no longer issue paper certificates of exam results as before, but instead will issue electronic certificates. This aims to facilitate candidates and admissions units, and promote efficient management in the context of digital transformation.
Currently, 106 training institutions have registered to use the results from the competency assessment exam organized by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
The second round of the 2025 competency assessment exam will take place on Sunday (June 1st) in 11 localities, including: Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang and An Giang.
The registration period for the second round of the exam runs from April 17th to May 7th.
