You can visit Co To Island at any time of year. However, summer is always the top choice for tourists. When planning your trip, check the weather forecast to avoid rainy or stormy days if you don't want to be stranded on the island for an extra few days.

To get to Co To Island, you need to go to Cai Rong port in Van Don district, Quang Ninh province to buy ferry tickets. There are two types of ferries you can buy tickets for:

- High-speed ferry: Departs at 1 PM daily, travel time to the island is approximately 90 minutes.

- Wooden boat: Departs every day of the week at 6:30 AM, travel time to the island is approximately 150 minutes.

The ferry departure schedule depends on the weather conditions at sea, so you should contact Cai Rong Port in advance to inquire about the departure schedule to get the most up-to-date information.

Co To Island boasts numerous beautiful tourist destinations for you to explore. With just a motorbike, you can easily discover the island's many beautiful spots. Below is a list of Co To's beautiful tourist attractions you should visit:

- Co To Lighthouse: This lighthouse was built in the late 19th century. From the top of the lighthouse, you can observe a panoramic view of Co To Island.

- Cau My Rock Beach: Located south of Co To Lon Island, Cau My boasts a system of sedimentary rocks eroded over tens of thousands of years by seawater, creating a rare natural wonder compared to other famous islands of Vietnam.

- Hong Van Beach: Located on the eastern side of Co To Island, Hong Van Beach is calm, with gentle waves like a lake, thanks to Thanh Lan Island acting as a windbreak. The soft sandy shores and clear blue water make visitors reluctant to leave.

- Van Chai Beach: A beautiful beach nestled along the coast with a long stretch of fine sand and charming, gentle waves. Especially noteworthy is the stunningly beautiful turquoise water, reflecting the sunlight and changing shades of blue with each gentle wave that laps against the shore.

- Love Road: A road over 2km long, paved with red bricks, running along the coast, located about 100m from the town center, lined on both sides with lush green casuarina trees swaying in the wind.

- Co To Con Island: Although uninhabited, it is a top tourist attraction in the Co To archipelago thanks to its stunning, pristine beaches.

Co To Con Island is located more than 1km from Co To Lon Island. Visitors do not need to apply for a permit and can rent a wooden boat to travel to the island, with a journey time of about 30 minutes.

Co To's seafood is famous for its freshness and deliciousness, so you definitely can't miss the seafood dishes on this beautiful island. The town has many restaurants with delicious food at reasonable prices.
