"Trade Union meals" provide additional motivation for workers.

On May 21st, the Trade Union of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Noi Bai Industrial Park) organized a "Trade Union Meal" program for more than 4,000 employees working at the company.

From the start of lunchtime, the company's cafeteria became more bustling and warm than usual. Instead of the familiar pre-set meals, employees could choose from six diverse menus: chicken rice, shrimp rice, beef rice, pork rib rice, fish rice, and roasted pork rice, along with tempting desserts. Each meal cost 80,000 VND, with the local trade union contributing 50,000 VND and the company contributing 30,000 VND.

The generous and nutritious meals, combined with the warm and friendly atmosphere, brought immense joy to many workers. More than just a delicious meal, the "Trade Union Meal" became an opportunity for employees to feel the support and care of the Trade Union and the company.

Attending the program, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor Nguyen Huy Khanh emphasized: “The ‘Trade Union Meal’ is a practical activity that demonstrates the deep concern of the Trade Union organization for the material and spiritual lives of its members and workers. Through these warm and nutritious meals, the Trade Union organization wishes to convey its feelings, sharing, and gratitude for the great contributions of workers to the development of enterprises and the Capital city.”

According to Comrade Nguyen Huy Khanh, although each meal may not have a large material value, it embodies the affection, responsibility, and solidarity of the Trade Union organization with its members and workers. This is also an opportunity for leaders of Trade Unions at all levels and businesses to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers, thereby continuing to find solutions to better care for the workforce.

The Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor acknowledged and commended the active cooperation of the leadership of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. in improving the quality of canteen meals, enhancing working conditions, and caring for the lives of employees. He expressed his hope that in the future, the company will continue to work alongside the Trade Union to build a safe, friendly, stable, and sustainable working environment.

Along with the "Trade Union Meal" program, the company also organized the "Thank You to the Workers" activity. On this occasion, 20 workers in difficult circumstances received support from the company's trade union, each receiving 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 500,000 VND. These practical gifts not only helped to encourage workers to overcome difficulties but also demonstrated the spirit of sharing and solidarity of the trade union with its members.

Excited to enjoy the nutritious meal, Ms. Tran Thi Anh, a worker in the company's input quality control department, shared that she clearly felt the care and attention of the Trade Union in always listening to and looking after the lives of the workers. "Today's meal is tastier and more complete than usual. More importantly, we feel cared for and supported," she said.

Having been with the company for over 20 years, Ms. Bui Thi Phuong happily joined her colleagues in enjoying the "Trade Union Meal." According to her, activities like this help employees feel more connected and motivated to work with peace of mind and contribute to the company.

Meanwhile, Ms. Hoang Thi Nguyen chose the imperial shrimp dish with great enthusiasm. "The atmosphere today is very joyful. We enjoyed our meal while having a close conversation with the Trade Union leaders and the company's leaders, so we felt very warm," she shared.
