“Previously, we had a 30.000 billion VND package but then stopped, so many customers who are people, workers, and armed forces when buying houses do not enjoy incentives from the 30.000 billion VND package. We recommend this VND 120.000 billion package for customers who have purchased completed projects but have not yet had access to the preferential credit package.
With the VND 120.000 billion program, there is no synchronization of loan time between investors and customers. Customers can borrow for 5 years but investors can only borrow for 3 years and many banks require investors to guarantee customers when borrowing capital to buy social housing. Thus, if the customer's loan is for 5 years, the investor must be able to borrow for 5 years. We hope the State Bank will study this issue further," Mr. Tuan proposed.
Tuesday, Business representatives suggested that the Government could research and set aside an amount of 1 - 2% to compensate for interest rates for commercial banks.
