A solid foundation from the people.
From the beginning of 2026, the Lien Chau Commune Police proactively advised the Party Committee to issue a specialized resolution on ensuring security and order, determined to build a drug-free area. To realize this political determination, the role of the grassroots security force was placed at the center, leading the mass movement. Implementing Decision No. 2382/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee, Lien Chau commune quickly reorganized and recognized 38 security and order protection teams in the villages with a total of 110 members. The management, personnel record keeping, and policy implementation were carried out systematically, scientifically, and in accordance with the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level.
Assessing the importance of this model, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Bo - Deputy Head of Lien Chau Commune Police - affirmed: “The political security and social order in the area are basically stable. The fight against crime has achieved many positive results, and the 'All People Protect National Security' movement continues to be effectively maintained. This is thanks to the grassroots security forces who have maximized their core role, helping the commune police to understand the situation, detect and handle incidents promptly from the moment they arise.”
The regular presence of local security officers in the area has brought peace of mind to the people. In the first six months of 2026, there were no complex criminal incidents in the area. Minor internal conflicts, land disputes, and emotional disagreements were all resolved at the grassroots level by the forces in coordination with the Party branch and the village management board, preventing the emergence of hotspots.
Through information from the public, the force received over 10 valuable pieces of information, helping the commune police to promptly arrest and handle 5 cases, and also encouraging the people to surrender 5 weapons, explosives, and various supporting tools. Whenever an incident occurred, members of the security team promptly arrived as directed by the regular forces, effectively preventing acts that infringe upon the lives and property of citizens.
Strengthening the security posture
Beyond maintaining neighborhood security, the local security force of Lien Chau commune also closely cooperates with the regular police force to effectively implement key tasks, creating significant changes in administrative management. In the campaign implementing the Government's Project 06, with the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every person," the force assisted in cleaning up data for 163 cases of children who had not registered their permanent residence; successfully guided the activation of 2,956 level 2 VNeID electronic identification accounts and 86 business accounts. This dedication has helped people understand the superior benefits of digital technology , gradually replacing traditional paper documents for online administrative procedures.

Lien Chau commune police are stepping up efforts to issue identity cards and activate electronic identification for citizens aged 6 to 14.
Furthermore, the "Safe Traffic Gate" model at five schools has proven remarkably effective. During peak hours, personnel are actively on duty to manage traffic flow and resolve congestion. The campaign to promote the "Don't drink and drive" pledge at restaurants and eateries, and the "Schools Say No to Weapons" pledge, have begun to foster a culture of responsible behavior.
The force's mark remains strong in fire prevention, firefighting, rescue, and actively supporting the people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters caused by major storms. In particular, the humane nature of the Party's policies is demonstrated through the force's coordinated efforts in educating and rehabilitating over 38 individuals serving prison sentences outside the community and those who have completed their sentences, helping them reintegrate into society and minimizing the risk of recidivism.
Despite achieving many comprehensive results, at regular briefing meetings, the Lien Chau Commune Police frankly acknowledged some practical difficulties such as inconsistent equipment and tools at times, and sometimes disjointed coordination between forces. To meet the demands of the new situation, the local Party committee and government are urgently reviewing and supplementing necessary equipment and continuing to coordinate with higher-level police to organize training to enhance the political acumen and professional skills of 100% of its members.
In the coming period, the Lien Chau Commune Police Department is determined to continue strengthening patrols and controls; promoting online public services and guiding the integration of social security accounts on VNeID to best serve the people. Building a solid people's security posture from the roots is a strong foundation for protecting the achievements of socio-economic development. The silent efforts of the 38 grassroots security teams in Lien Chau Commune have contributed to maintaining peace and security, worthy of the trust and affection that the Party and the people have placed in them.
