Update to iOS 26.1 to use Apple Intelligence in Vietnamese.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - In the early hours of November 4th (Vietnam time), Apple released the iOS 26.1 update.

This is one of the important upgrades that many iPhone users in Vietnam have been waiting for, as it adds Vietnamese language support to the Apple Intelligence suite.

To install iOS version 26.1, users can go to Settings -> General -> Software Update .

After successfully updating to iOS 26.1, users need to adjust the language for Apple Intelligence by going to Settings -> Apple Intelligence & Siri -> Language -> Vietnamese .

Besides Vietnamese, this update also supports a range of other languages, including Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish, and Chinese.

Along with Apple Intelligence, the AirPods Live Translation feature now supports several new languages, including Chinese, Italian, Japanese, and Korean.

Apple Intelligence is an artificial intelligence (AI) system developed by the company specifically for devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Macs. It combines AI models generated on the device with those provided by servers.

Apple states that its AI generative solution is personalized to suit each user's context, while still ensuring data privacy and security.

The company also announced Private Cloud Compute, a server infrastructure system used to run more complex models. Apple says this allows more powerful AI models to process user data without sacrificing any privacy.

Some notable features of Apple Intelligence include Writing Tools, which helps users write, proofread, or edit text anywhere, such as Mail, Notes, Pages, and third-party applications.

In addition, iOS 26.1 brings a host of other changes related to the user interface and features. Specifically, the iOS 26.1 update will allow users to customize the Liquid Glass interface to their liking.

The Clock app also changes how the alarm interface is displayed. The "stop" button will be changed to "slide to stop," to reduce the likelihood of users accidentally tapping it.
