Update iOS 26.1 to use Apple Intelligence in Vietnamese

(Dan Tri) - Early morning November 4 (Vietnam time), Apple released iOS update 26.1.

This is one of the important upgrades that many iPhone users in Vietnam are waiting for when it supports Vietnamese language for the Apple Intelligence toolkit.

To install iOS 26.1 operating system version, users can access Settings -> General Settings -> Software Update .

After successfully updating iOS 26.1, users need to adjust the language for Apple Intelligence by accessing Settings -> Apple Intelligence & Siri -> Language -> Vietnamese .

In addition to Vietnamese, this update also supports a range of other languages, including Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish, and Chinese.

Along with Apple Intelligence, the AirPods Live Translation feature also supports several new languages, including Chinese, Italian, Japanese, and Korean.

Apple Intelligence is the company's artificial intelligence (AI) system developed specifically for devices like the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It is a combination of on-device and server-based AI models.

Apple says the company's generative AI solution is personalized to suit each user's usage context, while still ensuring data privacy and security are maintained.

The company also announced Private Cloud Compute, a server infrastructure system used to run more complex models. Apple says this allows more powerful AI models to process user data without giving up any privacy.

Some of the standout features of Apple Intelligence include Writing Tools, which lets users write, review, or change text anywhere in apps like Mail, Notes, Pages, and third-party apps.

In addition, iOS 26.1 also brings a series of other changes related to the user interface and features. Accordingly, the iOS 26.1 update will allow users to customize the Liquid Glass interface as desired.

The Clock app is also changing the way the alarm interface is displayed. The "stop" key will be changed to "slide to stop", to reduce the chance of users accidentally tapping it.
