Nguyen Van Trung was born in 1999 and is currently a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association.

Seriously nurturing his passion, he diligently explored different angles and captured numerous images of Ho Chi Minh City's urban landscapes, especially sunrise and sunset. Alongside this, he also explored other subjects such as everyday life photography and macro photography of flora and fauna. Beyond Ho Chi Minh City, he also took many photos of his hometown in the Mekong Delta. Using only his phone, he captured and uploaded many images to social media to share with others.

Living with a passion for photography , young photographer Nguyen Van Trung shared: "Photography helps me hone my aesthetic thinking and creativity; especially, it allows me to connect with many fellow enthusiasts and friends."

In 2023, upon acquiring his first camera, he continued to pursue his favorite genres of landscape and everyday life photography, but with a more refined approach to framing and post-processing.

With unwavering effort, he reaped the rewards of his achievements. When his work "The Era of Rising Up" won the A prize in the "Vietnam on the Journey of Renewal" photojournalism competition organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, he emotionally shared his joy on his personal page: "For a young author, this is not just an award, but invaluable recognition for the days spent pursuing my passion..."

He took this photograph on the evening of April 28, 2025, during the dress rehearsal of the drone show over Ho Chi Minh City. “I still vividly remember the image of the drones forming the words ‘The Era of Emergence,’ and thousands of people were amazed by that moment. I felt the national pride in their hearts and in my own. Photography has become a bridge, capturing the most genuine emotions of life,” he shared.

Having previously worked for a company specializing in architectural, interior, and real estate photography, although he has since left the company, he continues to work as a photographer in those fields and is also a freelance photographer for Tuoi Tre Newspaper, covering social, cultural, and entertainment topics.
