The competition demonstrated that the quality of the implementation of the 2018 General Education Program at the primary school level was affirmed with positive results. However, some limitations remain, such as: unreasonable time allocation, slow innovation in teaching methods in some lessons, and student assessment sometimes focusing too heavily on results. The problem-solving skills and teaching methods of some teachers still need further improvement.
Spreading the impetus for innovation.
Beyond simply showcasing individual abilities, the competition also provides an opportunity for teachers to reflect on their teaching process, thereby adjusting and improving their professional skills. Many teachers believe that participating in the competition helps them accumulate more experience, boldly innovate methods, and improve the quality of their lessons.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang, an English teacher at Nguyen Thi Dinh Primary School (Bac Lieu Ward), shared: “The competition provided many practical experiences in innovating teaching methods. Being recognized for our achievements is a motivation for teachers to continue striving and making greater efforts in teaching.”
Teachers at Nguyen Thi Dinh Primary School (Bac Lieu ward) are applying artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching mathematics.
The fact that 71 out of 71 teachers participating in the competition achieved the title of " Excellent Teacher " at the provincial level, and 14 teachers received outstanding achievements, is not only a well-deserved recognition but also creates a positive ripple effect throughout the entire education sector. This encourages teachers to continue learning and innovating, contributing to improving the quality of education.
Ms. Son Cha Ri Da, a music teacher at Le Loi Primary School (Hiep Thanh Ward), expressed her joy and pride at being honored. According to her, the competition is a valuable professional platform that helps teachers consolidate and improve their skills, while also providing opportunities to interact and exchange experiences with colleagues. From the shared experiences and the dissemination of best practices, the competition is also an important step for the education sector in Ca Mau province to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
Primary school students are given the best possible conditions to develop their abilities and qualities.
In the context of increasingly in-depth educational reform, maintaining professional platforms not only helps to identify and nurture talent but also motivates each teacher to continuously improve their professional skills and develop their abilities to meet the requirements of the new era.
