Taking care of children of workers and laborers

Not only caring for the lives of workers and laborers, the Tay Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor and grassroots unions also care for the children of workers. Many practical and meaningful activities were organized during the recent Mid-Autumn Festival, creating a meaningful and useful playground for the children.

Children of workers and laborers participate in the Mid-Autumn Festival

During the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025, the Tay Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union to organize the program "Full Moon Festival Night" for children of union members and workers, contributing to helping them have a complete Mid-Autumn Festival, while also demonstrating the sharing and connection of the Union organization with workers. Participating in the program, the children were immersed in the bustling atmosphere of lion dance performances, art performances and exchanges with Uncle Cuoi and Sister Hang.

In particular, the Organizing Committee also awarded 200 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children of workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift is worth 750,000 VND, including 500,000 VND in cash from the Labor Federation's budget and a gift worth 250,000 VND from socialized resources of enterprises.

Ms. Nguyen Le Kim Thao, employee of Elite Vietnam Global Shoe Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Ben Luc commune) shared: “As a single mother, raising 2 young children, I do not have much time and money to let my children participate in recreational activities. When participating in the Mid-Autumn Festival, my children were very excited, especially the lion dance performance and lantern procession. In particular, my children also received Mid-Autumn gifts, so they were even happier. This activity helps children understand more about the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival and have new experiences.”

The Provincial Federation of Labor always identifies taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members, workers and their families as a key task. The Mid-Autumn Festival not only brings children a joyful and useful playground but also demonstrates the solidarity and sharing of the Union organization with workers.

More than 1,000 children of workers and laborers of Ching Luh Shoes Vietnam Co., Ltd. participated in Mid-Autumn Festival activities.

In addition, many trade unions also organize Mid-Autumn Festival programs for children of union members and employees. At Ching Luh Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. (Ben Luc commune), the trade union organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program that attracted more than 1,000 children to participate. In addition to art performances and lion dances, the trade union also coordinated with VNVC Vaccination Center and Thien Tam Dental Clinic to provide free health consultation and check-ups for children, etc.

In particular, in the program, the Trade Union of Ching Luh Shoes Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a badminton tournament by age for men and women, attracting 100 children to participate.

It can be seen that taking care of employees’ children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival not only has material significance, but also encourages the spirit, motivating employees to stay and contribute to the enterprise. At the same time, this is also the practical concern of the Trade Union organization for the young generation – the future buds of the country.

Each lantern and each gift given is not only a simple joy for children, but also conveys a message of sharing and solidarity, thereby contributing to creating an increasingly better working environment and spiritual life for employees./.
