Taking care of the children of workers and laborers.

Besides caring for the lives of workers, the Tay Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor and its affiliated trade unions also pay attention to the children of workers. Many practical and meaningful activities were organized during the recent Mid-Autumn Festival, creating a meaningful and beneficial playground for the children.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2025, the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Union, in coordination with the Provincial Youth Union, organized the "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" program for the children of union members and workers, contributing to a complete Mid-Autumn Festival for them, while also demonstrating the sharing and connection between the labor union and the workers. Participating in the program, the children immersed themselves in the lively atmosphere of lion dance performances, cultural performances, and interacted with the characters of Cuoi and Hang.

In particular, the organizing committee also presented 200 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children of disadvantaged workers. Each gift was worth 750,000 VND, including 500,000 VND in cash from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's budget and gifts worth 250,000 VND from social contributions by businesses.

Ms. Nguyen Le Kim Thao, an employee of Elite Vietnam Global Footwear Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Ben Luc commune), shared: “As a single mother raising two young children, I don't have much time or money to let my children participate in recreational activities. When they participated in the Mid-Autumn Festival, my children were very excited, especially the lion dance performance and lantern procession. They were even happier to receive Mid-Autumn gifts. This activity helped them understand the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival and gave them a new experience.”

The Provincial Federation of Labor Unions has always considered caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members, workers, and their families as a key task. The Mid-Autumn Festival celebration not only provides children with a fun and beneficial playground but also demonstrates the solidarity and sharing spirit of the labor union with workers.

Over 1,000 children of workers and employees of Ching Luh Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. participated in the Mid-Autumn Festival activities.

In addition, many grassroots trade unions also organized Mid-Autumn Festival programs for the children of union members and workers. At Ching Luh Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd. (Ben Luc commune), the grassroots trade union organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program that attracted more than 1,000 children. Besides cultural performances and lion dances, the grassroots trade union also coordinated with VNVC Vaccination Center and Thien Tam Dental Clinic to provide free health check-ups and consultations for the children.

In particular, during the program, the Trade Union of Ching Luh Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd. organized a badminton tournament categorized by age group, with separate categories for boys and girls, attracting 100 participants.

It is clear that caring for the children of workers during the Mid-Autumn Festival is not only meaningful in terms of material support, but also serves as a source of spiritual encouragement, further motivating workers to remain committed and dedicated to their work at the enterprise. At the same time, this is also a practical expression of concern from the trade union organization for the younger generation – the future seedlings of the country.

Each lantern, each gift given away, is not just a simple joy for children, but also conveys a message of sharing and connection, thereby contributing to building a better working environment and spiritual life for workers.
