According to PhoneArena , Infinix has shared teasers showcasing some features and specifications of its smartphone, the Infinix Note 30. While details don't mention ChatGPT, information posted by leak expert Ice Universe on Twitter suggests the Infinix Note 30 will utilize ChatGPT via the Folax voice assistant.
The first smartphone with integrated ChatGPT will launch this week.
If this information is accurate and Infinix does indeed integrate ChatGPT into its Note 30 series, this would be the first smartphone to use OpenAI's AI chatbot platform. Ice Universe suggests that ChatGPT will not be a standalone application but will be integrated into the phone's operating system. In his tweet, he also provided an example related to how voice assistants work.
The Infinix Note 30 is expected to officially launch on June 14th. The company has revealed some of the phone's features, including JBL audio, an improved 108 MP camera, a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support (the exact capacity is yet to be revealed).
It remains unclear how integrating ChatGPT into a phone's voice assistant will work, but if all goes well, a phone with integrated ChatGPT could be a game-changer. Currently, many smartphone manufacturers are trying to enhance their services with AI (artificial intelligence), with one of the first names to emerge being Google with its own developed Google Bard.
