• Over 53 million VND donated to the "Supporting Students to School" program for students in An Xuyen ward.
  • "Supporting students to go to school" in Hoa Binh commune.
  • Supporting students to attend school - Preventing school dropout.

The program, implemented by the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund, aims to support children in extremely difficult circumstances, contributing to the goals of the National Action Program for Vietnamese Children giai đoạn 2021-2030. The support is provided once a year in cash at a value of 6 million VND/year. Children receiving support must commit to not dropping out of school. In the event that a child receiving support drops out of school, the support funds for the following year will be transferred to another child; the selection of a replacement will be agreed upon between the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund and Acecook Vietnam Company.

"Casting the Net of Dreams" is organized with the desire to help poor students, children of fishermen and farmers, have better opportunities to go to school. Each "net" cast represents a gift of school supplies, scholarships, bicycles, Tet gifts, etc., contributed by organizations, businesses, and philanthropists.

One of the cases receiving support is Pham Tam Vi (Hamlet 7, U Minh Commune), a student in Class 7A1 at Nguyen Mai Secondary School. Tam Vi's mother passed away due to Covid-19, leaving five siblings orphaned. The economic burden falls entirely on her father, who relies solely on fishing for his livelihood. Despite the precarious living conditions, Vi's father strives to nurture her dream of attending school.

Pham Tam Vi is diligently studying in class.

Ms. Nguyen Kim Em, Vi's grandmother, couldn't hold back her tears when talking about her granddaughter's situation: "Vi is so young and has already suffered the loss of her mother. Her father is at sea all year round, and his income is barely enough to feed them. Seeing my grandchildren struggling and feeling sorry for them, I visit them regularly, and we eat whatever we have."
