On the evening of October 20th, informing the Industry and Trade Newspaper, the leaders of the People's Committee of Lim town, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province confirmed that a fire had occurred at a house used for both residential and business purposes in the area.
According to initial information, the fire broke out at around 9 PM on the same day at a five-story building, a combination of residential and imported tarpaulin business, in Lim town.
At that time, local residents noticed thick smoke and flames rising from the five-story building and reported it to the authorities. Upon receiving the information, the Fire Department dispatched numerous fire trucks to the scene to extinguish the fire.

Because the fire occurred at a business premises containing flammable materials, the flames rose fiercely, accompanied by a tall column of smoke. Several explosions were also heard during the fire.
Local leaders said the fire is now largely under control. However, authorities are still actively working to extinguish the flames and prevent them from spreading.
Witness Hoa told reporters from the Industry and Trade Newspaper that the fire occurred in a five-story building used for both residential and commercial purposes, selling various types of tarpaulins. At the time of the fire, many people inside the building managed to escape, and seven fire trucks arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames.
Initial assessments indicate that the fire completely destroyed the workshop and spread to the five-story building, causing significant damage. In addition, neighboring buildings were also severely affected by the spreading flames.
Local authorities are investigating the cause and extent of the damage from the fire.
