According to initial information, at around 8:45 PM on the same day, residents noticed a fire inside a warehouse storing scrap fabric located in an alley off Huynh Thien Loc Street (Hoa Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District) and shouted for help, then worked together to put out the fire.

Due to the presence of flammable materials, the fire spread rapidly and intensely, rendering on-site firefighting efforts unsuccessful. The blaze created a column of black smoke that rose high into the air, engulfing a large area.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue Police force of Tan Phu District Police deployed numerous vehicles and officers to the scene. The Fire and Rescue Police force of Tan Binh District Police was subsequently mobilized to provide assistance in extinguishing the fire.

Nearly an hour later, the fire was brought under control. Authorities continued to use water hoses to spray water inside the warehouse containing scrap fabric to extinguish any remaining embers.

The cause and extent of the damage from the fire at the scrap fabric warehouse in Hoa Thanh Ward are currently under investigation by the police.
