A series of monitoring points have reached the "scorching" threshold:

Thanh Hoa : nearly 40 degrees Celsius

Hanoi : approximately 40 degrees Celsius

Phu Tho : 40 degrees Celsius

Dong Hoi: 39.5 degrees Celsius

Especially in Hanoi, the concrete and urban effect can make the perception of the outdoors even more pronounced.

Forecast: Northern Vietnam will continue to experience intense heat until around May 27-28. Central Vietnam will remain a "furnace," with temperatures potentially exceeding 40 degrees Celsius in many areas from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang.

From May 28th to 29th, the heatwave will begin to subside.

People should: Limit going out between 11 AM and 4 PM; Drink plenty of water to avoid heatstroke.
