Responding to a reporter from VTC News online on the evening of June 21, the leader of Thien Nhan commune People's Committee ( Nghe An province ) confirmed that functional forces are making efforts to reach and control the forest fire in the area.
"Currently, we haven't been able to estimate the area affected by the fire. Due to the hot weather and strong winds, the fire broke out and spread rapidly. The area where the fire started had also been affected by a fire 5-7 years ago, so it is now mostly covered with weeds. Authorities are making efforts to control the fire to prevent it from spreading to neighboring areas , " informed the leader of Thien Nhan Commune People's Committee.
