Many locals and tourists flocked to the pho restaurant on Dinh Liet Street, waiting for their turn to sit at the exact table where South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and his wife dined on April 23rd, in order to take photos.

Besides enjoying the pho, many diners wanted to recreate the experience of the South Korean President and his wife. They ordered the exact dishes that the restaurant had served to the delegation, such as beef pho and stir-fried beef noodles.
To commemorate the event, Mr. Mui, the restaurant owner, displayed a photo of himself and his son with President Lee Jae Myung and his wife. At the table where the president had previously sat, the owner placed a sign that read "The President of South Korea dined here" in Vietnamese, Korean, and English. According to the owner, this LED sign was installed on the afternoon of April 25th at a cost of approximately 8 million VND to help guests easily identify the special area.

He said he had heard a lot about the reputation of Vietnamese pho, but the experience at this particular place with its special story made the meal even more memorable.
Mr. Nguyen Le Hung (Giang Vo) visited the restaurant out of curiosity. This is his second visit after a long time.
Speaking about the South Korean President's visit to the restaurant, Mr. Hung said that the image of the South Korean President with his simple, down-to-earth demeanor, eating pho at the restaurant, impressed him.

Le Hoai Nam, from Hanoi, said he is a regular customer of the restaurant, usually visiting once or twice a week, mainly late at night, with his favorite dish being rare beef pho costing around 60,000 VND.
Mr. Nam expressed his joy that traditional Vietnamese dishes are being well-received and loved by international friends, especially important people. Regarding quality, he commented that the pho at the restaurant still retains the distinctive characteristics of old Hanoi pho, with a familiar flavor that evokes childhood memories.

According to Thiều Văn Mùi, 35, the owner of the restaurant, immediately after receiving notification of the South Korean President's visit, the restaurant had about two hours to prepare. All staff were quickly mobilized to clean and rearrange the space, ensuring everything was neat and clean to welcome the delegation. Mùi also called in about five additional people to help.

During this time, authorities and food safety control departments also conduct sampling and inspection of ingredients and product origins to ensure they fully meet standards before being served.
At around 7 PM on April 23rd, President Lee Jae Myung, his wife, and delegation arrived at the restaurant and ordered 17 bowls of beef noodle soup and two portions of stir-fried beef vermicelli. The entire serving process took approximately 25 minutes.

"During the meal, the delegation members seemed very satisfied. The President and his wife finished all the broth in their bowls of pho. This was considered a great joy and honor for the restaurant," Mr. Mui said. After the meal, the owner sat and chatted and took photos with the President for a short time. Mr. Mui later displayed this commemorative photo in his restaurant.
The restaurant operates from approximately 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM each day, serving around 300-350 customers, 40% of whom are foreigners. The number of customers increases even more on weekends.

The restaurant's menu includes options such as rare beef pho, well-done beef pho, brisket pho, flank pho, beef shank pho, stir-fried pho, pho with wine sauce, etc. Prices range from 55,000 to 85,000 VND, with special bowls costing 105,000 to 125,000 VND.
According to the owner, Vietnamese customers usually prefer rare beef pho or rare beef brisket pho, while foreign tourists tend to choose well-done pho or special bowls to experience a variety of toppings.
