Over the past period, the Tax Department of Nhu Thanh - Nhu Xuan area has implemented many solutions to manage revenue collection, combat revenue loss, and promote administrative procedure reform, thereby contributing to achieving positive results in state budget revenue collection in the area.

Mr. Le Ngoc Anh, Head of the Tax Department of Nhu Thanh - Nhu Xuan area, said: In 2024, the budget revenue reached the target of over 278 billion VND assigned by the People's Councils of the two districts. To complete the target and exceed the plan, one of the solutions implemented by the department at the beginning of 2024 was to advise and propose to the People's Committees of Nhu Thanh and Nhu Xuan districts to allocate budget revenue targets to communes and towns. The department developed a revenue collection plan that closely reflects local realities, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely collection, preventing revenue loss, and minimizing tax arrears and delays; and reviewing emerging revenue sources. At the same time, administrative procedures were publicly posted at the reception and results delivery department; efforts were intensified to promote compliance with tax laws and support taxpayers; and notices were issued to taxpayers regarding the payment of all outstanding and newly arising taxes, fees, and charges from the beginning of 2024. Support organizations and individuals engaged in business activities in using electronic tax declaration and payment applications, electronic invoices, and electronic receipts. Strengthen the inspection and supervision of taxpayers' tax declaration files, monitor and promptly urge the payment of outstanding taxes; effectively receive tax declaration files, guide taxpayers on tax regulations and policies; train taxpayers on new tax regulations and policies; require businesses to submit supplementary tax declarations, especially for businesses that have not accurately declared their revenue; coordinate with functional departments of the district to establish inter-agency teams to collect tax debts; review and monitor the production and business situation of enterprises to prevent tax evasion.
In addition, the district will continue to implement the management of household and individual businesses using digital maps; coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to deploy a centralized land database, serving as a foundation to combat revenue loss in real estate transfers and prevent "two-price" transfers. It will strengthen inspection and supervision of invoice usage by organizations and businesses, thereby promptly detecting, preventing, and handling signs of illegal invoice trading and use at businesses, especially implementing electronic invoices for each sale for petroleum businesses. Due to the implementation of these comprehensive solutions, in the first two months of 2024, total budget revenue in Nhu Thanh and Nhu Xuan districts reached 36.4 billion VND, achieving 16.7% of the legally mandated budget target.
Currently, the Tax Department of Nhu Thanh - Nhu Xuan area is focusing on coordinating with relevant agencies to advise local Party committees and authorities on promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles in production, business activities, and tax obligations of enterprises and cooperatives. They are reviewing and reassessing revenue sources, analyzing factors affecting revenue, identifying unstable revenue sources, clarifying revenue and tax categories that are still being lost, and identifying potential revenue sources... all with the aim of successfully completing tax collection in 2024, contributing to the successful achievement of the local socio -economic development goals.
