Screening of films about President Ho Chi Minh for students and people of Phu Lam commune.

VHO - To commemorate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, the An Giang Provincial Center for Culture and Arts and Viettel An Giang organized a mobile film screening program for students and the public, attracting over 500 viewers in Phu Lam commune.

The program opened with the documentary film "Our Uncle Ho," which recreated the life, glorious revolutionary career, and sacred affection of the people for President Ho Chi Minh . This was followed by the feature film "Underground Tunnels: The Sun in the Darkness," contributing to the promotion of the patriotic tradition and the indomitable fighting spirit of the Vietnamese people.

Besides cultural and spiritual activities, the program also collaborated with Viettel An Giang to launch a 30-day campaign on verifying information for terrestrial mobile subscribers in accordance with Circular No. 08/2026/TT-BKHCN dated March 31, 2026, of the Minister of Science and Technology .

The initiative aims to ensure subscriber data matches the National Population Database, contributing to the elimination of unregistered SIM cards, preventing spam calls and messages, and protecting the rights of service users. Simultaneously, subscriber information verification is linked to providing public digital signatures to citizens aged 14 and above, helping people save costs, time, and reduce risks when carrying out administrative procedures and electronic transactions.

Ms. Ly Thi Le Hang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Lam commune, said that this activity has profound political and cultural significance, aiming to educate about revolutionary traditions and improve the cultural and spiritual life of the local people. Through the film screening, people not only get to enjoy meaningful cinematic works but also have the opportunity to access new policies and guidelines of the State.

Mobile film screenings are one of the regular tasks of the An Giang Provincial Center for Culture and Arts, aiming to bring high-quality cinematic works closer to the people, especially in remote areas, border regions, and islands; demonstrating the leaders' concern for the cultural and spiritual lives of all strata of the people; creating a widespread and practical political atmosphere, linked to the implementation of tasks by the Party committee, government, and mass organizations...
