– May 5.2021, Quy Nhon City Party Committee issued Action Plan No. 11-CTr/TU. The City People's Committee has implemented implementation plans with determination to achieve the overall goal of the action program, in which the important thing is positive changes in urban planning, construction and embellishment management.

In the planning work, on the basis of the general construction planning project of Quy Nhon city and its vicinity to 2035, with a vision to 2050, the city coordinates, organizes and submits to the Provincial People's Committee for approval zoning plans of 1/2000 scale for 12 inner city wards; planning Nhon Binh and Nhon Phu wards; conservation and sustainable tourism development in the fishing village area of ​​Nhon Ly commune; general construction planning 1/5.000 Nhon Chau island commune, Phuoc My commune.

Implement the 1/500 planning of the central residential area projects of Nhon Hai commune; TP2.1 sub-zone in Long Van new urban area; urban embellishment of residential areas in areas 1 and 4, Dong Da ward; commercial and service urban area of ​​Quang Trung ward; resettlement area serving the North-South expressway project…

Along with that, establish a regulation on management of city architecture and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.

In urban embellishment, the city has been implementing ground clearance and urban embellishment in areas such as reburial areas serving the relocation of Nhon Ly commune cemetery; complete construction of the garbage incinerator in Nhon Chau commune; dredging mud in Bau Sen lake. Speeding up the completion of documents and procedures to carry out the construction of works: Handling landslides on the roof of Nguyen Tat Thanh street; anti-flood drainage system in Ghenh Rang ward; resettlement area serving the North-South expressway. Implement site clearance compensation to speed up the progress of many important projects such as North-South expressway, Dinh river flood drainage system, Long Van - Go Tu route, expanding the route along the embankment of Ly Hung - Ly Luong village (Nhon Ly commune), improving the landscape of the front yard of Nhon Chau commune, expanding the trunk road and embankment route of Nhon Hai commune...

Another very important issue is strengthening the management of urban order, preventing encroachment on sidewalks and roadbeds as places for business and trade, especially in the city center.

The city is also actively coordinating with the Department of Industry and Trade and related departments and agencies to develop a plan to relocate Quang Trung and Nhon Binh industrial clusters and warehouses and production facilities that cause environmental pollution out of the inner city.

Meanwhile, the urban embellishment work is still passive, has not actively developed an annual implementation plan. Building a civilized road "green - clean - beautiful" and the street "do not encroach, occupy sidewalks, roadbeds" have not met the requirements. The encroachment of sidewalks, roadbeds, green strips, public places as trading places still occurs, causing a loss of urban beauty ...

These are all bottlenecks hindering Quy Nhon urban development in recent years.

Improve the quality of urban planning to meet the requirements of sustainable urban construction, management and development; innovating urban planning with a multi-sectoral, comprehensive approach, with a long-term vision, while promoting existing potentials and advantages, and creating new resources, space and development dynamics.
