After the Vietnamese national team finishes its matches against Indonesia in March 2024, the domestic club football season will resume with V-League matches, starting with Round 14 this weekend. League leaders Nam Dinh have added three domestic players during the league's break: Tuan Anh (from HAGL), Thanh Thinh, and Ngoc Bao (from Binh Dinh). This trio is expected to feature in coach Vu Hong Viet's away match against Hanoi FC.

The capital city team may also field new foreign players Ewerton, Tim Hall, and young player Sy Duc. Ewerton and Tim Hall promise to make an impression despite playing in defensive positions.

As for Ho Chi Minh City FC, they have recruited foreign striker Patino Pizano Santiago from the San Antonio team in the US. The match between Ho Chi Minh City FC and Binh Dinh is an opportunity for the Colombian player to shine.
